INITIAL CONSULTATION

Dr Luke Sergeant places dental implants at the practice. At your free initial consultation, an in depth examination will be carried out, including any necessary x-rays. He will discuss with you all of your options and allow you to make the choice that best suits your needs. You may require a state of the art cone beam CT (CBCT) scan to get an accurate 3D image of the area where dental implants are required.

SINGLE IMPLANTS

If you have a single missing tooth, a single implant is the best solution for you. Appearance at the front of the mouth is important and dental implants have become first choice for many patients. A single titanium implant is placed into the bone and allowed to heal for 12 weeks. Once healed an impression is taken of the area and a custom made abutment and cosmetic crown are made to fit onto the implant. This dental implant crown should function and feel just like your own tooth.
